Film: The Other Kind of Photography

So, in the spirit of this blog and helping promote some friend's work, I'd like to take this time to shed some light on the other kind of photography....FILM.

The trailer below is for a film my good friend Cameron Beyl has written and directed. I'd be lying if I said my own photography wasn't influenced by his work. Sometimes when I take my photos, I think "how can I make this photo look like a still from one of his movies?" No joke, I seriously do that.

His stuff is breathtaking, beautiful and truly remarkable. (I guarantee you that he will be a well known director someday-- I mean, why else would I still be friends with him!? JK!!) So do me a favor, watch this trailer and then next time you go out and take some pictures, pretend like they are stills from a movie...add a bit of drama and suspense to your photographs and see what happens!

  1. Um wow, that actually looks really amazing. Sad, but awesome. I would actually pay to see this movie!

  2. I cried, not a little either
